A Walk On The Dark Side

Here we come again with Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

This week the theme is quite creepy

A WALK ON THE DARK SIDE

Which means you can use dark colors or Halloween stuff.
This week we showcase Tim Holtz amazing products.
I am sure all of you have some of them so apply them and share with us!

As always you caan win a $50 voucher and spend it at

Here is my card using really dark colors but with quite optimistic words.
Take a look at the pics below to see how I made the background.

Take a piece of Crowded Attic papers and trim to 6x6''.
Cut out Cityscape Skylines twice and use the leftovers.
Adhere them to the paper with a glue or gel medium.
Apply a light and creamy Modeling Paste through Leafy stencil.

Heat the paste until it bubbles but be careful and don't burn it.
Cover the surface with Ground Espresso Distress Paint and dry.
Soften the color with Antiwue Linen and Tumbled Glass paints.
Mark the edges with Distress Crayons.

Apply some Rubs vertically and randomly.
Give a bit of golden touch to the bubbles with
Metallique Brass Hardware paint.
That's it and that simple!

Here come some close ups of the finished project.
