MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND!

This week we are showcasing CARABELLE STUDIO products!

but we'd really love to see them used if you have any.

As always you can win a $50 voucher and spend it

I'm staying in an Autumn mood longer than I expected
and this year the season keep inspiring me more then ever.
This is a B-day card with textures, embossing, rust - everything I love.

I got addicted to this Carabelle Studio Texte Grunge Embossing Folder
from the first moment I received it and I really use it a lot, like any other!

So I embossed those fabulous letters on a watercolor paper
and started to bleding distress oxide inks over the surface.
Love how the letters got highlighted with darker shades.
I stamped the salient parts with distress oxide ink and clear embossed it.

The main element is a leftover (yes! as always!) of the Sizzix Scroll die.
I first covered it with Distress Grit paste and then started to coloring.
I used the Prima Pattina Effect pastes, Ground Espresso spray
and one of my fave Lucky Emerald wax. Love the rusty look of it.

There is a mix of green inks behind the scroll
and a mix of browns as my base background.

The base was stamped using Ground Espresso Oxide ink
and Simon Clear Embossing powder.
I also added some writings from Inventor stamp sets
as a kind of labels to the scroll panel.
The sentiment is in Polish and means "it's your B-day today"
