I lost count on how many layers carries this card. 

The entire piece is built up with leftovers. 

I started with 2 panels, one white and one metallic but they got almost entirely covered up. 

I went quite crazy with adding layers of colorful pieces and it was hard to stop. 

The fun was really good, I recommend to just loose and build.

Hej, 

Ta kartka powstała z myślą o mojej scrapowej Przyjaciółce, która uwielbia maki oraz kolor czerwony. 

Papier ryżowy z makami w stylu vintage, przerobiłam na soczystą czerwień maku w ramce 

a w tle zostawiłam je w swoim pierwotnym kolorze. Rozjaśniłam nieco tło białą farbą, pocieniowałam tuszem, pochlapałam oraz na ramce użyłam pasty brokatowej dla podbicia efektu. 

Hi,

This card was created for my scrapbooking friend who loves poppies and the red color.

I transformed the vintage rice paper with poppies into a vibrant red poppy in the frame,

and left the background in its original color. I lightened the background slightly with white paint, shaded it with ink, splattered it, and used sparkle paste on the frame to enhance the effect.

Do tego trochę tuszowania, cieni, tekturka i dużo warstw.

It's hot and it's vacation time, so this card is also a vacation/travel themed one.

I made it almost entirely from Ciao Bella Journey Ahead Mixed Media Book.

Added some brown inks, shading, HDF frame and lots of layers.
