Happy Party!

Oh my, how the time flies!
Here we are with the last challenge this year over
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge and this one lasts two weeks.

The theme is obviously PARTY!!! Any kind of party, of course.

And as always you can become a random winner of $50 voucher and

I have made a very light, soft and champagne 40th b-day card.
I guess all the round birthdays mean some kind of a big party.

I have used my brand new embossing folder, one of the set and I really love it.
The effect is amazing and the background is making by itself. I will use them for sure with my next projects due to the fabulous dimension they give.
I colored the whole surface with also brand new Mother of Pearl Nuvo Mousse which has a beautiful light and vanila- goldish tones and shines pefectly.

It's so hard to take a good picture of such a bright and shiny colors.
Then I colored and fussy-cut siome of my fave Magnolias for Her and colored with MS Mother of Pearl Acrylic Paint and a bit of Lindy's golden mist.

The frame was made with embossed SSS Circle Doodle stamp
and colored with browns of Distress Oxide Inks.
The "happy" and "40" (thanks, Sandra!) were colored with MS Jet Stream Acrylic Paint and it has such a beautiful blue-silver tone!

Christmas or Winter Holidays

We stay in a Xmas mood with Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
and this week's theme is

Christmas / Winter Holidays

As always you can win a $50 voucher and spend it at
Give yourself a chance to get a Xmas gift.

My card is very glossy and shiny this time.
I kept it in traditional colors and covered all of the details
with clear embossing powder. You can read below how to make it.

Take 2 pieces of mixed media paper for your backgrounds.

On the bigger one make a frame with the stencil and Candied Apple
Distress Oxide ink and when it's still wet, apply clear embossing powder.
Put it apart and start to build the secod background.

Smear modelling paste through the stars stencil on a 3/4 of your paper.
Cover the whole surface with white paint and when it's still wet,
dust it with clear embossing powder. You will receive a pretty glossy surface.
Give a touch of light blue using Distress Oxide Ink.

The bottom of the panel just stamp with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain Ink.

Cut the Birthday Wishes Frame die and take off the inside.
Ink the frame with Candied Apple Distress Oxide and sprith with water.
When still wet, dust again with clear embossing powder.
It will only cover the parts without water drops - amazing, right?

Do the same with the Dashing Deer die and brown colors.
Finish it with some golden paints to give more interest.

Add some greenery, the sentiment and put all the elements
using 3D dots to give some more dimension.
