I'm in love with my Tim Holtz Inventor stamp sets by Stamper Anonymous.
They look amazing as they are but when I heat embossed them I got lost!
What an amazing look where all the tiny and micro details are so
reflected, 3D and shiny... I couldn't resist to make lots of photos :-)
Im my creative craze I only took pics of how I made the stamping, lol.
From the time I learned that the stamps look much better and more detailed
when stamped with Distress Oxides and then covered with clear embossing powder, I almost always practice that instead of stamping with embossing ink and use different colors of embossing powders.
I prefer to make it with oxides which give a very detailed
and exact stamping and with addidion of Simon Says Stamp Fine Detail embossing powders, the effect is amazing!
After heat embossing I just gave colors to my panel
using some Distress Oxide Inks.
The faces were fussy-cut and placed
with 3D dots to give a dimension.
The "frame" around the main panel were made with
SSS Brush Stroke Messages stamp and Black Soot Distress Oxide
and spritzed with water letting the color to blur giving a blended black.
I also glued a black twine giving even more dramatic and deep look.
The main background was made using SSS Abstract Triangles stamp
and SSS White Fine Details embossing powder,
colored with Distress Oxide Inks.
I sewed the edges and brought them out with Black Soot Distress Crayon.
