Oh what a fun this week over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
The theme is LET'S DOODLE
which has never been my thing until I tried that and I loved doodling!
This is such a funny way of giving projects a new look by just a bit of marker!
Really loved that and I am sure you will too.
While doodling remember that you could be a winner of a $50 voucher
and spend it at Simon Says Stamp Store. Don't think twice!
That was really very nice to experiment with doodling
the way I made two cards by accident, lol.
I love them both which not happens too often :-)

On the POSSIBILITIES card, first I stamped and embossed the fabulous
triangle background stamp, then I played with giving some light colors
with Distress Oxides. Finally I highlighted some of the triangles
with a contrasting, black pen.

On my main panel I used a negative die of my favorite leaf die,
added more oxide colors and the fabulous
Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint which I love.

I doodled the leaf outside and inside toojust to give more dimension.
I die-cut the sentiment, doodled the edges
and covered with rock candy, too.

On the CREATE card, I played with my new Sterling Silver Modeling Paste
on the background by just smearing it randomly and quite thick.
Then I gave it a fresh green color and splashed heavily with white paint.
My main panel is just a leftover from my ATC trio that I decided to keep.
The leaf is the same as on the first card, colored and doodled of course! '

Simon Says Stamp!
Adding your own hand to any piece of art makes it more personal and I think that is what makes it more endearing. It was good to read about your creative process and see your terrific photos--the end result is lovely.
OdpowiedzUsuńI can certainly see why you love these! It's always a pleasant surprise when things turn out surprisingly better than we imagined. I really liked seeing the way you created both of these-- so similar with their shapes, but each one is totally its own! Wonderful!
OdpowiedzUsuńThere’s so much texture and depth in it, that I just want to touch it! I love the burnt edges. I espcially like how the Lime from Dylusions came out. I just love that colour. It’s just great!
