Hello everyone and Happy Easter!
This week we are
GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES
As always you can be a random winner of $50
and spend it at Simon Says Stamp Store!
I made a very dimensional card using my new treasures: moulds.
I highly recommend to try them out but it's very addictive!
Unfortunately no step by step pics today due to lots of Easter
duties at the kitchen and lack of time.
The base was covered with a texture paste through the Prima Swirly Florals stencil and a thin layer of white gesso. Then the surface was sprayed
with several colors of Distress Oxide Sprays and stamped with Prima
mini stamp and StazOn ink. Some areas and the edges were touched by
Prima Firebird wax and splashed with Prima brass paint.
The Sizzix Clock was covered with black gesso and covered with a layer
of Gtid Paste and randomly touched with Emboss It dabber and Ranger Hammered embossing powder. The peaked parts were smeared
with Firebird wax and everything got a touch of white gesso by a dry brush.
The butterfly was covered with white gesso, painted with Distress
Oxide Sprays and then colored with Prima Metallique Light Pink Blush paint
and finally got a layer of gesso with a dry brush.
The moulded pieces were made out of resin and painted with Prima Metallique
Blackberry paint, Prima Emerald wax and a dry touch of white gesso.
Everything was glues with Gel Medium and is very stable.
