Hi there and be sure to join our new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.
I hope this week you won't be able to resist our challenge - the theme is
RESIST IT
That means you can use any resist technique you wish and have fun!
As always there is a $50 voucher waiting for one random winner
who could spend it at Simon Says Stamp Store!
My card this week is a very masculine and industrial one.
I opened up my new stamp set from Kaisercraft and played with it.
I used some heat embossing as my resist techniques, just take a look!
I started with stamping SSS Grid Background stamp
with embossing ink and applied SSS White Fine Detail Embossing Powder.
Heat dried and started to give some color to my background
using blues and grey Distress Oxides.
When the result was fine I stamped the giant gear from Kaisercraft
Barber Shoppe stamp set here and there on the edges.
I also stamped it on other piece of paper with embossing ink
and applied SSS Black Embossing Powder.
Then I fussy-cut the gears and placed with 3D dots in my edges.
To get some more industrial look, I stappled them randomly too.
Finally I added some Tim Holtz Rubons and Mini Fasteners.
I marked the edges with Distress Black Crayon
and colored my gentleman with Distress Oxides.
And some close-ups here below:
