Hello crafters!
This week we challenge you to add something
BEGINNING WITH "E"
but have longer shipping times due to the coronavirus.
With this in mind we have made the difficult decision
to suspend the $50 vouchers for this challenge.
We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it
if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun!
We are all in this together.
My tag contains a lot of EMBOSSING.
Used the fabulous technique by Tim with embossing and crayons.
I totally love this one and will be using it more and more
especially when finally my Distress Glazes arrive
which seem to stuck somewhere in the world.
My tag contains a lot of EMBOSSING.
Used the fabulous technique by Tim with embossing and crayons.
I totally love this one and will be using it more and more
especially when finally my Distress Glazes arrive
which seem to stuck somewhere in the world.
This are the steps I made for create the background:
1. Randomly colored the base with Distress Oxide inks: blue and grey.
2. Stamped numbers from several stamp sets with Archival Black Jet
3. Applied Emboss It Dabber along the tag not evenly at all.
4. Since I don't have Distress Glazes I used clear embossing powder.
5. Applied Hickory Smoke and Black Soot crayons.
6. From another piece of paper (made the same way but using other colors)
I cut the wildflowers and gave some final touches with bright colors of crayons.
7. Cut a small bottle from a cardboard and covered with mix of embossing powders to get some kind of marble effect (love it!).
8. Made holes for my hand stitches and used a thick black twine.
That's it. Easy but with lots of embossing.
