Hello everyone!
Did you miss our next challenge at CAS-ual Chic? I did!
So here we go with this great Tic-Tac-Toe:
My choice was: Stitching/Coloring/Distressing
There are a lot of layers and details on my card.
I don't remember I spent so many time on any other card :-)
But I absolutely loved it and had a great time with this fabulous stuff from CAS-ual Friday.
I love their stamps and dies and I feel honored to be a part of this amazing DT leaded by Michele!
Ok, let's tell you what I did with my card.
First I cut the kraft background cause I needed it absolutely neutral.
Then I cut a piece of linen and stamped all the piece with Out Loud background stamp.
I chose brown ink instead of black for my stamping just to keep the neutral color scheme.
The linen edges were strongly distressed to have more shabby chic look.
On the linen I put a page teared from an old book and distressed with ink on the edges.
The next layer is the kraft paper stamped with Old Loud as well.
All the composition was stitched and glued to the background.
Then I stamped Truth Is flowers on a watercolor paper,
colored them with yellow and green distress inks, cut them out and placed betwen the layers.
Then I cut some 4 Petal Set small flowers out the watercolor paper
and colored them with the same distress inks.
I gently embossed the petals and placed a stamen in the center of each flower.
I add some embellishments like twine, glitter pearl, music paper and a piece of lace.
I cut off some branches from Casual Trees and placed them among the layers.
Finally I gently stamped the Sassy Smiles stamp ever with beige distress ink
and watercolored with a yellow distress ink,
splashed some drops of it and placed as a main sentiment.
