Love Is In the Air

LOVE IS IN THE AIR 

over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week,

I guess I got a bit romantic and nostalgic lately...

I decided to redo this shadow box I bought over a year ago.

The initial idea was as always completely diffrent but as you know

I always create without the final plan in my mind.

I just let it go and observe where the process leads me.

I got so involved that I forgot to make pics during the making :-(

These are the only ones I took before it brought me into creating. 

I cut out several hearts using Bigz dies and using my favorite 

Whiskas packaging (thanks to my cat!, lol) and other corrugated paper

and some other kraft packaging, too. The thin ones I embossed with the

Sizzix Botanical 3D folder and the thick ones I covered with crackle paste.

I glued all the hearts to my shadow boc, covered them with white gesso

and colored with Oil Pastels to give a bit of shades I needed. 

Then I placed some scraps of Tim Holtz paper, cut out butterflies and 

colored them with oil pastels too, placed the Prima Venetian Shutters, 

gave some touches of Ranger Mixed Media powder, added the metal

plaque and the heart covered with pumice stone paste and red spray.
