It seems the spooky time is on the way this October so
at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge we invite you to join the
HALLOWEEN fun.
This week we are showcasing Memory Box products.
You don't have to use them to join us but if you have some,
we'd like to see them used!
As always there is a $50 voucher to spend in SSS Store!
I am absolutely NOT a Halloween lover so this theme is a challenge for me!
Happily I purchased this great Valley Berries stamp by Memory Box
and the inspiration came itself.
I decided to make a scarry night scene with this branches.
Well, it's scarry for me :) if there is a spider, all the rest is scarry enough!
First I stamped the Valley Berries on a white cardstock with Watering Can and Jet Black Archival Inks to get the shadow effect. Then I started to blend Distress Inks and spray them with water drops. The sun is just a piece of cardstock placed while applying the inks and removed leaving white space.
When te background was ready I placed some small bats (thanks, Sandra!) and Spider Webs die cuts (thanks again, Sandra!). The worse part was to place the spiders Rub ons (thanks again and again, Sandra!) it seems they terrifying me even when they're artificial. Brrrrrrr...
Finally I put some drops of Nuvo Drops and that's it :-)
